Chelsea's in-form winger Juan Mata has attributed his new form to the confidence reposed in him by his manager.
Roberto Di Matteo took over the team in March 2012 when Andre Villas Boas was sacked. Mata reckons that Di Matteo's style of play gives him the freedom to express himself.
"I think the football we're playing has taken the club, and my game, to a different level," Mata said. "We are playing the kind of football I have always loved to play, with freedom up front, all of us trying to pass and create with quality."
Mata has been one of Chelsea's top performers this season, scoring vital goals and providing in-perfect assists. He was voted as the Premier League Player for the month of October.
