Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has given out rings to his former teammates to commemorate their last season heroics in the UEFA Champions League.
Drogba who now plays for Chinese side, Shanghai Shenhua presented the rings to players and staff that played during the record-making season. However, recently-sacked coach Robberto Di Matteo was absent. Also absent were Fernando Torres and Juan Mata.
"I wanted to give something to the team so we can all look back and remember that achievement," said Drogba.
He also used the occasion to shower praises on captain John Terry.
"You're my hero and everyone at Chelsea loves you,"
The event was hosted at Wyndham Grand Chelsea Harbour in London. It is estimated that the rings cost the Ivorian £800,000.
